Hi Debra, I throughly enjoyed your video. I lol'ed when you guys were driving up (with not much in the way of guard rails) I noticed Frugal was straddling the double line at times. I recoginize thAT apprehension . . . I live at 5,600 and we have places further up the road with 10,000 ft. elevations! Beautiful scenery, lava rock formations, oh and . . . I think the four markers are there to let the bears know that it's a "leave no scat here" zone. Ya think? ;-)

Angel said bye bye we had fun watching. Love if jana and I work on a easy book for parrot beginners parents. A true quick book. I sure had to learn by becoming one. Teach to always have a journal for all animals and their lives with us. So we can keep their lives same in homes. Because birds only know how to function as them selves. Along the same lines, CT, has state parks that ban all but state residents entry. It seems a self sabotaging measure against tourism upon which many states rely upon for a vital economy. It saddens me to see many of the freedoms we hold dear being regulated away by draconian laws. It’s the wealthy, in my opinion, who find the need to regulate and debilitate freedom to pet their need of feeling entitled.

Day use fees are posted at all state parks. That is 5 dollars per vehicle. This will go up to out of state residents. N.M state parks will still be cheaper than most. What N.M is trying to stop is people using the ACP as an alternative to living at the state parks. We also have issues of people not paying day use fees at all. The rest rooms are used and abused by homeless, drug use, people use them for laundry. If you want to help, call these actions out. When you see someone littering tell them, same as vandalism. Its hard to stay on top of this. Parks are shirt handed as is.
